ASEAN-China Survey 2021 - ASEAN-CHINA RELATIONS AFTER 30 YEARS: Changing Perceptions, Remaining Anxieties, and New Opportunities
2021 is marking 30 years of ASEAN-China cooperation. Both parties have traversed many significant developments in this phase, from the ongoing COVID-19 crisis to the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) in 2020. However, great power rivalries, regional geopolitical turbulence, and Myanmar's political and humanitarian crises are challenging ASEAN-China's long partnership. How do Southeast Asian views into ASEAN-China's 30 years of cooperation? Against this backdrop, FPCI's Research and Analysis department conducted the "ASEAN-China Survey 2021". The survey aims to capture the views of Southeast Asian on the region's relations with China after 30 years through collected data from 1019 respondents from elites and students from all ASEAN member countries.
